On September 10, the Power Your Future Challenge team hosted a virtual information session to provide an overview of the challenge and answer questions. Jenny Lambert, Educational Program Specialist at the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education (OCTAE), discussed how the Department designed this challenge to help students explore clean energy solutions in their classrooms and their community. The Power Your Future website contains resources to help teachers prepare to bring this challenge to the classroom. Teachers are encouraged to read more about the challenge and explore the curated resources for inspiration. Teachers can also review the selection criteria and submission form. Submissions are due by 8:00 p.m. ET on November 19, 2024.
