With two weeks until the deadline, there is still time to join the Power Your Future Challenge. Whether you have already started your submission or are just beginning to think about clean energy, you can make a meaningful impact. If you’re not sure how to work this into your schedule, we have good news: From group projects and homework to in-class brainstorms and after-school clubs, there are lots of ways to participate.

Flexible ways to fit this into your schedule

Innovation takes many forms and can happen in the classroom or outside of school. Here are a few ideas for how you might fit the Power Your Future Challenge into your schedule this month:

  • Divide students into smaller groups, each exploring different clean energy possibilities for their school or community.
  • Build one idea as an entire class through group discussion.
  • Incorporate the challenge into warm-up activities at the beginning of a class period.
  • Turn submission questions into homework assignments.
  • Bring the challenge to an after-school club.

What matters most is that you participate in a way that works best for you and your students!

Ready, set, go!

Submissions are due by November 19 at 8:00 p.m. ET — but don’t wait to get started. Even if you start today, you’ve got this! Remember, some of the best innovations start with just one class discussion or a single student’s idea. If you have any questions, you can reach out to us at [email protected]
